Women's access to health care, notably abortion, is under attack. Women have a right to make their own decisions, but states are chipping away at these rights by placing roadblocks between women and their healthcare needs.
In many states, women are forced to travel long distances, wait for long periods of time, and/or consult with "professionals" with little or no medical training in order to access reproductive care. All these requirements are not based in science, are costly, and an infringement on a woman's right to choose and an insult to her decision-making ability regarding her own body and future.
Medical decisions should be made by a woman and her doctor, and her rights should not be guaranteed in word only while being made nearly impossible to exercise in practice.
