Too many times cops immediately go towards pulling the trigger rather than being humane. Many innocent lives are lost due to the ruthless actions of many law enforcement officials across the nation. Officers rather kill the hostage than to save them (California bank robbery in July 2014). Officers in many instances get very hostile when they are being video and audio recorded on public property and on private property and arrest innocent people for no reason other than with the excuse of being recorded, which wastes many valuable tax payer dollar. Pass a federal mandate that pushes for cops to be some what educated with an associates degree and with special mental training in order to deal with hostages, situations where things need to be controlled calmly, and to stop trigger happy cops.
