Everyday in the US, the Police go unchecked. They frequently break the laws they're supposed to enforce. Many of them simply think they're above the law themselves.
Often times police vehemently try to convict people of crimes for which there is no evidence besides an officer's testimony. The DMV and judicial system both take the officer's word as fact, even when there is no tangible evidence. Everyone knows that officers are not infallible. FORCE THE JUDICIAL BRANCH TO REQUIRE TANGIBLE EVIDENCE FOR CONVICTIONS.
Lastly, everyone knows of the police brutality that happens everyday. Recently in New Mexico, a mentally ill homeless man was shot to death by police. In return, the officers got 4 days PAID vacation.
