stop police elitism and racism by radically reforming the police force in Ferguson.

Created by N.K. on November 25, 2014

We petition this administration to reform the police force in Ferguson, MO, to reduce police brutality, racism, and elitism, by doing the following.

•Getting Rid of most/all of the current police force.
• Through a process similar to jury duty selection, random residents of the city will be called to serve their city as police officers for the term of one year. The person will get paid a salary during their service. Service can be exempt for medical, etc. reasons.

What will this solve?

1. This will make the police force more diverse, discouraging racism and sexism.

2. By only making the duty temporary, police officers will give fairer impartial treatment, expecting the same of future officers. They will not treat themselves as special, entitled, or above the law.
