Political Correctness is tearing this country apart and starting race wars all over again. With the introduction of African-American, Anglo-American, Latino-American, and so on. This has made it where the population has started separating itself all over again. Plus, the terms are not grammatically correct either. The terms should only be used for those that have directly come from whatever country they are from. Once you have been born here, have grown up here, and choose to stay, you are no longer (Insert race here)-American, you are simply American.
Being an American used to mean that you had pride in your country. Lets rebuild that pride and save the - to recognize those that have come here for the better life and quality of living that they have longed for and not use it to define us.
