Stop politicizing the internet! Respect freedom of speech and let the internet remain a free tool for expression.

Created by V.H. on February 21, 2013

With the internet becoming more and more prevalent in our society and culture, it's important to take our rights into account and let the world wide web remain free and open. It is not for politics to come invade and start ruining it's purpose. A recent bill being proposed by Illinois Senators called the Internet Posting Removal Act, would remove all anonymous comments from the web unless the anonymous poster agrees to attach his or her name to the post and confirms that their IP address, legal name, and home address are accurate.
If this is passed, other draconian bills would be introduced and would set the stage for a complete takeover of the web as we know it. Keep politics away from the web!
