Stop "Pookie-isms": Addressing and Referring to Black People Using Patronizing and Disparaging Language

This requests the President end the use of patronizing and disparaging language when addressing and/or referring to African Americans. Recent comments that encouraged Democrats to energize the party's most reliable voter bloc, were offensive, stereotypical, and detrimental to the public's perceptions about African Americans.

Whether invoking the term "Pookie", a certain dialect when speaking to black groups, or other patronizing behaviors, these undermine who we are as a people in the eyes of our children and the world at-large.

If blacks are "Pookie" in the eyes of the President, so will we be in the eyes of schools, employers, police, courts, etc.

Off-color language is not allowed by Jews or gays. For 90% of our votes in both your victories, African Americans expect the same respec
