This petition is to have the President stop the US Postal Service stop closing all the small Post Offices in the Country. The Postal Service wants to close a profitable Contract Post Office and make the residents drive 10 miles to get their mail. The Postal Service should be looking to add more Contract Post Offices instead of shutting them down. A contract post office does not employ Federal Employees. The service delivers the mail and employees of the contract post office sort the mail. They also sell stamps, help customers send packages, and sell money orders. This service is provided by local people for local people. Please sign this petition and help us save our part of America.
