via Chuck Paternaude: " I was diagnosed and treated for Lyme disease in 2007, and stage 2 renal carcinoma in 2009. We discharged our bankruptcy (chapter 7) in 2011. Our original mortgage interest was 9.25 percent as it was considered commercial (agricultural). At the time we got the mortgage in 2002, this was not an issue, as I was making 125K as a system designer, and Terri was making 80K working in veterinarian research support. Currently I am on ssdi for severe osteoarthritis with chronic pain, diabetes, diverticulitis, and "traumatic" brain injury, which is actually probably secondary to Lyme. There is of course the spector of cancer overlaying everything else.
