It has recently come to my attention that the nonprofit group "Organizing For Action" intends to sell access to their quarterly meetings with The President of The United States to large sum donors.
This petition calls for the banning of any member of the executive branch of government from accepting meetings with advocacy groups who offer meeting spots based on donations.
Advocacy groups exist to help solve problems. It is against the spirit of being a social welfare organization to raise money by giving its advocacy time away to the highest bidder. This is no better than PACs with anonymous donors.
We must keep people from buying the presidents time.
