stop the presidents and congress salaries until we as the country stop losing money

I believe that government shut downs are not needed because some people are to greedy to make some cuts so I've been thinking until the national debt deficit decreases then the President Congress or legislator should not get paid because when the government shuts down because of them they still get paid but some hard working Americans suffer it really doesn't make sense and it doesn't take a college graduate to figure this out I think its time for the government to understand what they're causing
