Having watched Bush creatively interpret to his heart's content, these are chillingly hollow words. Do you not see the very real threat here - that worse leaders may arise - or do you just not care? You have left the door open for any future tyrant to walk through at will. At the very point you should have vetoed, you thought it was acceptable to sully our rights with muddy language that can be abused by men of (only slightly) less noble character.
For this reason, I am petitioning you to admit that our government no longer represents its citizens.
