Political asylum is a right that should be granted to any human being. It is the government's duty to be sure this controversy is thoroughly (and well) managed.
The US is home to many political refugees, and it is simply hypocrisy attempting to prevent Snowden from receiving asylum. Although Snowden's actions beyond revealing our surveillance to the American people are questionable, it is our government's duty to manage this in the most humane and politically correct way. Moreover, every country and their leader is watching our government, and the US administration asking countries to prevent Snowden's asylum is extremely unconstitutional and speaks to our government's position in this controversy.
