I believe that foods should be naturally grown and harvested on our land in the U. S. I believe that when foods are genetically created that there is a loss of value to the foods, thereby disabling persons who eat the designed foods. The ramifications of tampering with nature's original foods as they are originally grown is that they may possibly, as they are used, create yet unidentified problems to our health and environment. With such possibilities, we should test generatically-grown products prior to their use for human consumption or other uses on animals, even checking the soil for the changes it might perpetuate. Although we have had genetic interactions for more than twenty years now, the sudden obvious need for food is making the genetic foods available for the average person.
