Pennies and nickels are no longer needed. They are outdated and unnecessary. They cost more to make then they are worth, they are a waste of metal, no modern machines accept them, they waste our time, and their sentimental value is not a excuse to keep manufacturing them. Canada and many other European countries no longer have the penny and their economy has not been affected by the 'rounding tax', neither have their contributions to charity decreased either. Pennies and nickels are unnecessary and they need to stop being manufactured.
