Stop the production of pennies in the U.S. It is a waste of time and money.

A penny costs 1.26 cents to make. To me that doesnt make any sense at all. We waste so much money a year just to make pennies. Most people just throw them away or set them on there dresser and never use them again. Also it wastes peoples time. The average american wastes 2.4 hours a year handling pennies or waiting for someone to grab there pennies. People are digging for those pennies probably trying to get rid of them anyway. No one likes them so I think we should get rid of them and stop wasting money and time!
