Stop profiting from student loans.

Created by M.K. on January 31, 2014

We the people of the United States feel that the federal government needs to stop profiting from student loans. The federal government made profits of $41.3 billion from student loans in 2013. Only two companies in the world cleared higher profits: Exxon Mobil and Apple.

With rising interest rates, the federal government is set to clear $175 billion in profits over the next decade. Estimates show more than $1.2 trillion in student loan debt across the nation. The federal government needs to STOP abusing their powers and profiting from indebted college students.
