Stop prohibition of all medicine, i.e. drug war, and move management of prohibited substances into medical profession

Decriminalize use of all substances by individuals for personal health or recreational purposes. Expand Food and Drug Administration responsibilities and capacity to regulate the distribution all substances manufactured for consumption by americans. Mandate education and monitoring of quality and quantity of all products available to americans. Establish tax system for purchases of substances based on their potential to harm human health and the environment. Establish procedures to monitor personal performance comminsurate with responsiblities. This one adjustment to our laws will greatly reduce harm caused by the current prohibition policy, free tax money for public health and welfare purposes, and create jobs for millions of americans.
