Stop prohibition of Marijuana once and for all

This petition is for the end of Marijuana prohibition in the United States. For far too long, we have been keeping this wonderful and useful herb illegal, creating nothing more than yet another black market. Unless an unrealistic amount is consumed, no one can die as a direct result from using it. Plus, Marijuana has natural properties that can treat and cure certain forms of Cancer, as well as Glaucoma. Also, through the cultivation and growth of Hemp, we can make nutritious food additives, fuel for are cars and homes, as well as paper and even environmentally safe plastic alternatives. In other words, our economy could greatly benefit from the end of prohibition. It's time that we the people stand up, band together, and end prohibition for the betterment of our country.
