With or without international cooperation, the United States must make a firm stand against nuclear proliferation across the globe. Countries new to nuclear technologies should not be allowed to have any ability, for any amount of time, to proceed with nuclear weapons development. This should be a united effort amongst many nations, however, if other nations interfere, or intervene with the dissemination of facilities and supplies that may be used for nuclear weapons, then the United States must make a stand and continue dissemination, while simultaneously implementing strategies to repress opposition to this goal. The more countries with nuclear weapons, the more dangerous this world becomes for everybody.
