The truth is that no one really owns there homes in the united states. The day you fail to pay taxes on your home the IRS takes your home or land, Does not matter how many generations it has been in your family. I believe there should be a cap on how much you need to pay in property taxes. Once you pass that limit it should be free of taxation until sold or value of property raises. Too many people lost there homes due to taxes owed on there property. And every citizen should have the right to own your land free from taxation once a limit has been met. One should not loose there homes due to taxes.
