Stop proposing the $100 dollar flight fee for General Aviation Pilots.

Created by D.H. on March 19, 2012

Next month, in his initial Fiscal Year 2013 budget, President Barack Obama is expected to propose a 100 per-flight user fee for millions of general aviation flights in the coming years.

Needless to say, this fee would be a disaster for every pilot and for every American who cares about preserving the greatest general aviation system in the world.

But as you're well aware, the federal government is now facing a major financial crisis, with spending far outstripping revenues. We're therefore facing one of our most difficult battles ever to defeat this user fee and protect your freedom to fly. Mr. Obama Im trying to become a pilot and its hard enough without you placing a 100 dollar per-flight fee. Making it nearly 300 dollars just for 1 hour to FLY!
