Think of guns like you think of beer. if you say they cant have it what is going to happen? They will find another way to obtain it. prohibition didn't work for alcohol and it wont work for guns, we should focus on keeping them out of felons hands without hindering the many that want or need them for personal protection. There was an assault weapon ban in 1986 that got rid of assault weapons (guns capable of firing more than 1 bullet per trigger pull) for civilians but the so called 2013 assault weapon ban discriminates by looks, not function because none of the banned weapons are actually assault weapons. Criminals will not abide by the laws and put in a 10 capacity mag because you say so. The weakest defense is we ow it to the victims, we ow it to the living to stand up and fight evil.
