President Obama's campaign promises to build a transparent government and to support whistleblowers have not only been left unfulfilled but also been reversed with the justice department's unprecedented hounding and prosecution of whistleblowing by Americans. US citizens have a duty to expose wrongdoing when they see it and should be honored for giving information to the citizenry and exposing misbehavior as well as misuse of taxpayer dollars.
