When students borrow for school they borrow federal student loans and private student loans. The Congress gave new protection to the private student loan lenders so that the loans cannot be forgiven and the lenders can charge extraordinary fees and hound the borrows as if they committed murder. Stop this insanity and allow forgiveness for borrowers who are penniless and cannot find work with the overpriced and sometimes worthless degree they were told would give them a lifetime of employment. Help these students please, not all are in our twenties some went back to school in our 30's and 40's for "a new career" and we still are out of work now with huge student loan debt.
