CIA operatives and U.S. special operations troops have been secretly training Syrian rebels with anti-tank and antiaircraft weapons since late last year, months before President Obama approved plans to begin directly arming them, according to U.S. officials and rebel commanders.
Be honest with citizens on the use of money for arming belligerents in foreign conflicts. This should be taken as serious as a declaration of war.
Stop providing arms to belligerents of either side in Syria (or anywhere for that matter). Tax dollars should be spent on providing education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
