According to CBN news, "Some Virginia students in 8th grade will soon be receiving lessons on 'oral and anal' sex. Fourth graders will receive instruction about incest. The goal is to teach students about homosexual, bisexual, and transgender identity." The curriculum starts in kindergarten, and the parents cannot opt out.
The school is stripping and violating the rights of the parent(s) to decide if their kids should be exposed to this, and to talk about these sensitive subjects with their children when the parent(s) are ready. If the Virginia schools get their way with this, more schools in the US may try to incorporate the material and infringe parents' rights as well.
If you wouldn't want a stranger talking about these kinds of things with your kid, why would you let the school do it?
