The standard and widely popular AR15 semi automatic rifle is not a "Assault Rifle" and shouldn't be falsely grouped with actual assault rifles as a way of making them sound more scary or more dangerous to help pass illegal laws.
The AR15 (AR standing for ARmalite, NOT assault rifle) needs to no longer be referred to as part of the "Assault Weapons" group because it factually is not. It is the civilian version of those rifles specifically made for civilian ownership.
PS. A standard 30 round magazine (also referred to as a clip) is standard, NOT high capacity. There's a pretty big difference between the two.
