With the cynical murder of Boris Nemtsov, a well-known Russian politician and advocate of democracy, on the night of February 27, 2015, in the heart of Moscow, Putin's regime once again raised the banner of terror and aggression.
Putin's furor today is directed at the whole world. Putin’s Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum, occupying Crimea, as well as the peace agreements in Minsk, having carried out the bloody seizure of Debaltseve and gone on to target troops in eastern Ukraine.
If the aggressor cannot be stopped now, then it will be much harder to stop later.
We demand the immediate introduction and strong enforcement of sanctions against Putin's Russia, including sanctions on the large Russian banks and corporations, as well as on dual-purpose agencies, such as Rosatom.
