Too many nonviolent individuals with no prior criminal history are being incarcerated due to possession of marijuana. With two states (Washington & Colorado) already legalizing recreational marijuana use and numerous others allowing medicinal usage, this draconian policy needs to stop immediately. We the people must come to the realization that jail should not be for humans that commit victimless, nonviolent crimes.
