Spending is out of control and the national debt is increasing every day. As a short term goal we would like to balance the books. the long term goal would be to create a surplus that can be used to reduce the national debt.
1. Do not increase the current debt ceiling.
2. Spending should be under control and the debt should be stable within a year.
3. The national debt should be reduced before Obama leaves office.
