Allowing a rapist to exercise parental rights over their victims' children is blantantly inhuman! This petition is in support of the 'Rape Survivor Child Custody Act' which aims at taking away this misplaced privilege from rapists.
In 31 states, this law has not yet been passed. So, rapists can and often do exercise parental rights over their victims' children. What can be more unfair? This act must be passed in these 31 states:
