The M1 Garand was the rifle that helped enable our soldiers to win World War 2. It was, during it's time ""The greatest battle implement ever devised." according to General George S. Patton, Jr. Time has moved on though. Just as the musket and cannon were the greatest battle implement of their time, technology has advanced. These are still favored rifles for collectors and sportsmen alike, but are no more a threat to society than the average deer rifle. Why is it then that the government has deemed this rifle so dangerous as to prevent bringing home the rifle that helped win WW2? The current administration has decided to "keep military-grade firearms off our streets." and has signed an executive order to enforce this. This is no longer a "military grade" firearm. Time to bring home the M1!
