Reform of the mental health treatment system and revamp of background checks on firearms to look more deeply into a individuals mental health history.
We need to get a system in place in where individuals who are reconised or in need of mental health treatment can go. Whatever options that are considered needs to be easier to access and affordable.
When purchasing a firearm, the background check should include detailed information on any mental health problems that a persons has had.
The link between all the violence we have seen lately with mass shootings and with violence in general is that the people doing these horrific acts didn't get reconised to have mental disorders or didn't get the proper care when recognized. Please stop punishing responsible gun owners!
