In light of the blatant disregard of the Brazilian government on issuing diplomatic passports, granting them to religious leaders and others that do not occupy positions in the government nor are related to diplomats or career diplomats, we petition the US government to halt the recognition of Brazilian diplomatic passports and treat them with the same security and immigration procedures of ordinary passport holders.
Diplomatic passport holders have too many benefits that can be considered a threat to national security if they are being distributed indiscriminately.
