PLEASE Stop redistricting in Fulton County GA that would drastically and unfairly reshape the governance structure, tax base, and employee benefits to specifically meet the wishes of North Fulton Republicans that are not consistent with the wishes of the democratic majority.
Redistricting tips balance of power to GOP in a democratic majority area. Health care, mental health svcs, social services, state employee benefits will be negatively impacted and violates Sec 5 of VRA.
Although Fulton County is majority Democratic, these bills would have an easy passage in the State Legislature as Republicans hold a supermajority in the State Senate and near supermajority in the State House. The maps are designed to stack the Fulton County delegations with Republicans legislators.
