For decades, we have called our friends, the African Americans, minorities. In this day and age, we can see that African Americans are exactly equal to Anglo Americans, and we even have a president who is half African. Calling African Americans "minorities" is like saying African Americans deserve special privileges, rather than equal rights among all races, religions, genders, sexual preferences, etc. It is unfair to other races, and it is time to inform the American citizens that African Americans are no longer a minority and should no longer be referred to as such.
