Regime change in Syria has been planned since 2006(1)has plunged Syria into a full blown civil war that claimed the lives of over 470,000.
While one can peddle this blame on the Russians; we must first think to ourselves of how we would react to a foreign backed rebelion that seeks regime change in our own country.
This policy is both immoral and illegal as foriegn backed regime changes violate UN charter and international law.
Our intervention in Syria is not for humanitarian purposes; not when we sell arms to Saudi Arabia who use them to kill scores of civilians in Yemen.
We cannot be the moral leaders of the free world and hope to convince other nations to follow international laws if we wont do it ourselves.
