Alexander Hamilton was a hero of the revolution, an abolitionist, founding father, and key architect of our nation. Andrew Jackson was a genocidal slave owner who purged the Native Americans and waged countless illegal wars. It is baffling and repugnant that the Treasury is considering removing Hamilton in lieu of Jackson, and I call upon the White House and Secretary Lew to decide otherwise.
