Stop Rep. Darrell Issa from destroying the USPS with bill HR 2309.

Created by K.A. on February 18, 2012

Rep. Darrell Issa and his committee and bill HR 2309 would try to nullify contracts, billions of dollars of cuts in post offices, stations, branches and mail processing facilities and not to mention service deliveries.
If not for PAEA - the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act on 2006 - the USPS would be strong, stable and thriving. This act mandates the USPS to fully fund future retirees' health benefits for the next 75 years in a 10 year period. That comes out to $ 5.5 billion each year. No other company, public or government, is strapped with this kind of mandate.
