Stop reporters from posting pictures of fatalities prior to families being notified by law enforcement agencies.

Created by G.B. on January 30, 2014

As a mother who learned of hers son's death in a fatal auto accident via an online article with multiple pictures that had his lifeless body lying out next to his truck. I knew of this prior to the law officials arriving at my home as I was on my way to my child. No parent should learn of the death of their child in this manner. There should be a working relationship between the media and law enforcement agencies that has a policy in place that states that families should be notified prior to the release of these graphic and emotionally damaging photos.
