Stop Reptiles in Clothing

Created by A.J. on August 03, 2015

440,000- That is the number of pythons that are slaughtered, tortured and killed every year only for our clothing. Every year millions of reptiles are farmed and hunted and killed for their skin - to be used for footware, clothing, belts and other fashion accessories.

In the United States, reptiles are excluded from the protections by the Animal Welfare Act. Don't believe me about the cruelty reptiles face for the clothing industry? Well watch this video about the cruelty reptiles face for these things (link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeklO6be3_o).

The Reptile Rescuers are petitioning that reptiles be included in the Animal Welfare Act of the USA, and that it be made illegal for reptiles to be used in clothing.
