The US has found a loophole to restrict the movement of it's own Citizens by the "Trading with the Enemy act" of 1917, which while it does not in fact illegalize travel to Cuba, instead punishes it's Citizens by not allowing them to spend any money or accept any gifts, which effectively does the same thing when you take into consideration the fact that a stay of more than one day is considered proof that said Citizens have traded with the enemy. We consider the spirit of this law to be unconstitutional at best and a violation of a fundamental human right at worst.
