Colleges are encouraged/required to accept a certain amount of minority students. Many scholarships (including one on the SAT) are only available to minority students. In the workplace, employers are often required to hire a certain amount of non-white people. While diversity is definitely a good thing, discriminating against a specific race (in this case, Caucasians), is unfair and completely un-American.
