Stop "riders" on all legislation.

Created by C.T. on January 19, 2012

We the people demand that the Legislature (Congress and Senate) deal with one piece of legislation at a time and prevent legislative "riders" (unrelated legislation attached to popular legislation).

Example: NDAA bill for indefinite detention, interrogation, and prosecution of suspected terrorists being attached to tough sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program and allocating money for the military.

Accountability works best when elected officials can be held responsible for a single action and cannot rationalize decisions based on unrelated legislation.
