The United Nations has asked the US to give them time to finish their investigation into which side used Chemical Weapons. Syria poses no threat at all to the US or our foreign interests. Syrian rebels are backed by Al Queada an organization we are currently at war with, and which has killed and maimed thousands or our soldiers. Finally, and most importantly, US bombs dropped in Syria will only lead to more human suffering. So please, don't risk global conflict just to win a pissing contest Mr. President!
