stop rural government from monopolizing and capitalizing upon the efforts and ideas of minority based organizations.

Created by J.S. on May 12, 2015

Human and civil rights hindered by local government and educational institution.

The Rosenwald Center was founded to stop demolition of a Historic Colored School in a low wealth community. With community support two schools and a ball field were all nominated as Historic Sites. Local government and/or educational institution were demolishing the properties prior to our Save the School Project's inception. Since obtaining recognition, bringing jobs, revitalization to the area we have been locked out of our office and isolated from the facility which has brought near death to a vital organization. Since Local Government have partnered with other entities to monopolize the properties. We have been asked to proceed with nomination of the area without access to or respect for the work done.
