On April 11, 2014 Russia notified the U.S. State Department it wouldn't allow surveillance flights over Russian territory, a violation of the 1992 Open Skies Treaty.
However, Russia continues to conduct surveillance flights over the United States to spy on nuclear defense capabilities over the objections of U.S. intelligence agencies and Joint Chiefs of Staff for the U.S. military.
Russia was recently accused of violating arms treaties, including the 2010 New START arms treaty and the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty. Meanwhile significant numbers of T-72 tanks are being shipped to Crimea.
Stop Russia from spying on the U.S. and not allow Tu-214ON planes equipped with digital imagery equipment, sideways-looking synthetic aperture radar, and infrared gear over U.S. airspace.
