Every day in this country, animals are sold online. Puppies, kittens, and other pets which are bred in facilities no one ever sees, and many of which are puppy mills. These animals are raised in deplorable conditions, then sold to anyone who enters a credit card number online with no care or regard at all to where they are going or who is receiving them.
The internet sale of animals only supports the puppy mill industry and allows it to continue unchecked, unregulated and also leaves the consumer out of luck if the animal should arrive sick, suffering from genetic deformities, etc.
That this is legal at all is really a crime against animals and the people who love them, and it should be stopped immediately!
