Our considerable domestic natural gas resources are being dissipated with increasing amounts being sold to the Chinese versus filling current or future US energy requirements. If not taxed, regulated, or even stopped, the sale of these drilling rights in the Marcellus Shale region will create a serious threat to the USA's energy independence.
